Abstract: All existing THz sources are coherent and produce speckle. Like all the interference phenomena speckle depends on three parameters of the THz beam: phase, wavelength and angle of incidence and could be reduced by the diversity of parameters. Diversity tools have been compared to improve THz images of concealed objects.
