The analysis of filaments is performed in a three steps processing sequence:

1. Image decomposition.
2. Multi-scale Line segmentation
3. Filaments segments merging

This process allows extracting quasi-straight individual filaments in a robust manner, resulting in the list of individual filaments present in the cytoskeleton, along with their respective position, orientation and length.
